Gerrold began playing music at age 4 but received his 1st real guitar at age 10. He then taught himself to play with a chord book and entered talent shows. "G-Man" started his first band called "Odyssey Incorporated" which later disbanded and later formed another band called "Spectrum", which toured the local college scene in the early 1980's. He later played with several local bands like, "Silk", and "The Alyve Band" until a chance meeting in 2007, while playing with the "Verde Band", musical legend Billy Ball spotted him and asked him to join his "Upsetters." Gerald is the guy with the "talk-box" reminiscent of the device created by Roger Troutman of Zapp. You will be surprised and amazed as he jumps up and runs around the dance floor with a cordless guitar, as he plays with and to the crowd whilst among them. "G" has also performed and recorded music with Kenny Dodson, Bill Wooten, The Sam Williams Singers, The Full Circle Band, and Minister Stanley Daniels & Company.
Jeff is one of the best guitar players in town, originally a player with "Chubby & The All Stars" from 1997 to 1999, when he joined "Billy Ball & The Upsetters". Jeff plays your favorite songs in the key of the original recording and has been playing since he was 5 years old. He plays lead and rhythm guitar, bass, and drums. and also embellishes where necessary for precision and dynamic effects. His motto is: "Treat people the way you want to be treated & keep it real." Jeff says, "The most important thing is to listen to what someone has to say".
Richie is the quintessential drummer and time keeper. He has played drums professionally for many years with the likes of Betty Wright, Billy Ball, etc. You will enjoy his riffs and melodic tempos.

Bobby Banner is one of the most popular members and the elder of the group, being a staple for several years. He is probably best known for his renditions of James Brown, Gerald Levert, and the high falsetto tones on several songs including "Kiss" by Prince, "Reasons" by EWF and "Slow Jam" by Midnight Star. He has also produced a C.D. of blues favorites, featuring "Down Home Blues", and an original tune or two.
Al is also a versatile vocalist singing songs that range from Maxwell's "Ascension", to R. Kelly's "Step in The Name of Love", and Usher's "There Goes My Baby". Line dances like "The Wobble" & "Teach Me How to Wobble" are always a party favorite. Al also performs rap songs by Montell Jordan, 50 Cents, Nelly & Tupac.
